OpenAI announced the rollout of ChatGPT Slides on October 16, 2026, for eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users with Space access. For Mac teams, the practical question is where to review a presentation together and where to finish it. OpenAI’s release notes describe both stages.

Review one shared deck

The Slides product page describes separate viewing, commenting and editing permissions. Teammates can work on the same slides, while a comment addressed to ChatGPT can request wording or chart changes. An example presentation can guide the design.

Where workspace teams are enabled, Space also supports sharing a presentation with a workspace team. Keep review feedback beside the shared slides rather than scattering it across exported copies.

Choose your finishing app

On the web, Slides exports to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides. In the desktop app, OpenAI says users can open a deck in PowerPoint or Keynote when those applications are installed. Its product page describes editable content that can be refined in another presentation editor.

The announcement does not specify native .key export or promise that later Keynote edits synchronize back to Space. Decide which copy will be authoritative after the handoff. Check the exported deck’s layout, charts and speaker notes before relying on it for a presentation.

Check access before moving a project

Start in ChatGPT Work and request a presentation in Space. Because access is rolling out, confirm that the feature is available to the people who need it before moving a time-sensitive review.

OpenAI’s older Space setup guide still calls Slides forthcoming. It also lists Canada and UAE data-residency workspaces as awaiting Space, so affected organizations should verify availability and sharing controls.

This is a documentation-based report. MacDigest has not tested collaboration, exports or the Keynote handoff.
