Apple has started Indie Games Week on the App Store, highlighting seven games for iPhone and iPad through daily features and curated collections. The October 12 announcement brings together recent releases and an upcoming mobile launch, giving players a useful starting point for exploring games from independent studios.
What you can play now
Six of the featured games are available to download: Sifu, Vampire Crawlers, Little Kitty, Big City, 9 Kings, Dome Keeper and Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall.
Sifu brings its martial-arts combat to mobile with adapted touch controls, a revised camera and controller support, according to Apple. Vampire Crawlers takes the world of Vampire Survivors into turn-based, card-driven dungeon exploration. The rest of the selection ranges from a cat’s city adventure to kingdom management and mining-based survival.
The games use different payment models. Little Kitty, Big City, 9 Kings and Yes, Your Grace 2 offer free introductory play followed by a purchase to unlock the full game. Sifu, Vampire Crawlers and Dome Keeper have upfront prices on their U.S. listings. Check the listing in your region before downloading.
No Man’s Sky follows later this month
Apple says No Man’s Sky will make its iPhone and iPad debut on October 28. Its linked U.S. App Store page currently shows an expected date of October 29. The two official pages differ, so players should check the listing again closer to release. The mobile version offers introductory play with a one-time full-game unlock.
Hello Games confirms that the mobile version does not support multiplayer. Its announcement lists Planetary Settlements support on “iPhone 15 Pro and above,” without specifying which iPads support the feature.
Compatibility also varies. Sifu lists iOS or iPadOS 18 or later; Dome Keeper requires version 26 or later. Several listings include Apple silicon Mac compatibility while carrying a “Not verified for macOS” label. Mac readers should check each game’s compatibility details before treating an iPad version as a Mac purchase.
